Brian was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by the light, mountains, and art of the West. He fondly recalls childhood visits to museums and concerts with mentors that helped form the foundations of his love for classical music and art.
He is a US Marine Corp veteran who then became a classically trained orchestra musician. After receiving his classical music performance degree from The Boston Conservatory he transitioned to a career in the finance industry while continuing with a passion for music and the arts. His classical music background of the past translates to his art today – where he enjoys the 19th century methods and techniques of painting in oil. Like classical music, his paintings are structured and harmonious, and sometimes quiet or vibrant.
Brian studied painting with the late William St. George in Boston, and is currently mentored by Todd M. Casey, an award-winning still life artist, teacher, and author.
When not painting, he enjoys spending quality time with his family at home in Natick, Massachusetts.
